Bird Feeder

With the warm weather, we are spending more and more time outdoors.

There is nothing we like more than having a picnic in the park under the sun, sometimes until the birds arrive and we can share our sandwich with them... we are becoming friends !

That is the reason for our handicraft.

We are going to make a lovely bird feeder...to give them a nice feed of birdseed!

Apli colour sticks

Apli hemp twine

Apli white glue

Apli scissors

We make a square as big as the sticks allow and stick their ends together.

We cover the distance between the ends with more sticks...we can combine them any way we like!

Afterwards, we turn over the piece.

We begin to intertwine the different-coloured sticks and stick them by the ends with the Apli white glue.

We have made this in fours but you can do it whatever way you like ;)

...until we use almost all the sticks up... we have lots of room here to put out a lot of food for our friends! :D

Now let's give it a final touch, adding two pieces of Apli hemp twine strands to hang it wherever we wish.

Or on a tree in the park!

The most important thing is for our friends to come!
