Who hasn't imagined being Mary Antoinette, walking through the Palace of Versailles carrying a lace fan? Well, we can't promise that you'll be tele-transported to those marvellous gardens, but at least the summer will be more bearable...

MATERIALS

APLI ice cream sticks

APLI coloured paper

APLI magic hole punch

APLI universal glue

APLI adhesive tape

APLI map pins

STEP 1

Take 5 or 6 ice cream sticks and perforate them with a pin in the same position as in the photo. Stick a little piece of cork with the universal glue on the other side so it doesn't come out.

STEP 2

Draw and cut out a semicircle as in the photo using all the stick open to trace it.

STEP 3

Take the hole punch and perforate the upper part.

STEP 4

Now you can glue each of the sticks to the semicircle you have cut out, with adhesive tape.

STEP 5

The only thing left to do is to mark the folds of the fan so you can close it.
