A button necklace

Buttons have infinite uses, although the one that comes to our mind is always the same: to close shirts. And although it isn't the first time we show you handicraft activities with them, we hope that you like this one as much as we do :D

MATERIALS

APLI felt

APLI wooden buttons

APLI GLAM transparent elastic thread

APLI scissors

Sewing needle

STEP 1

Cut felt circles larger than the wooden buttons you're going to use.

STEP 2

Thread the needle with the APLI GLAM transparent elastic thread. Take a button, put it on the felt disc and pass the thread through one of the holes, beginning with the felt. Then pass the thread through the other hole sewing it to the felt.

STEP 3

Carry on doing the same, combining different buttons and coloured felt discs

STEP 4

Continue sewing the buttons to the felt discs and joining them together with the same thread.

And when it’s done, tie a knot and you will be able to put it on and take it off whenever you want, because the thread is elastic!
