Little elephant family
Who said that to do handicraft it is necessary to complicate your life with thousands of products from Mars? We certainly didn't! What's more, to do today's activity, you only need paper, scissors and adhesive tape... Shall we begin?
MATERIALS
APLI colored papers
APLI little eyes
APLI scissors
APLI adhesive tape
APLI double-sided adhesive tape
APLI Pompoms (optional)
STEP 1
Cut four paper rectangles of the same size.
STEP 2
Roll them up and stick them. These rolls should be a bit long, because they will be the elephant's legs.
STEP 3
When all of them are made, join them together with adhesive tape. At the top as well as the bottom.
STEP 4
Now make a base of the same size as the four legs to hold the head and stick it to the legs. Make another roll of the same length and a bit wider than the legs, which will be the head. When the head is made, stick it to the base.
STEP 5
Make two thin strips of paper and roll them around a thin cylindrical object (for example a pencil or pen) to shape the paper. The strip for the trunk will be longer and the other strip for the tail will be shorter.
STEP 6
Now the only thing left to do is to characterise your elephant... Make the ears with two large disks of paper, give it eyes and make the hoofs with pompoms, paint or using scraps of paper, whatever you prefer!
And carry on... until you have a complete family!
