Blowing in the wind!

341_7

Summer is here… what would summer be without open-air parties, with fruit juices and water balloons? And if, in addition, they are decorated with paper windmills, success is guaranteed.

APLI wire

APLI premium hobby knife

STEP 1

Take a sheet of APLI scrapbooking paper, cut it into a square and make slits, as you can see in the photo.

STEP 2

Cut small crosses in the corners and one in the centre.

STEP 3

Take the three corners marked with crosses to the centre.

STEP 4

Take a piece of wire and, using the pliers, give it a rounded end.

14

STEP 5

Align the 4 corners and the centre and push the wire through them.

9

STEP 6

Bend the wire so that the windmill with keep its shape.

10

STEP 7

Now you can decorate the wooden stick. Attach some paper strips to the stick with the white adhesive tape.

STEP 8

The last step is to join the stick to the windmill. Which is very simple, just wind the wire round the stick.

And there it is! We have combined paper squares of different sizes and with different patterns and we love the result, what do you think?
