A Pipi Longstocking puppet!
Do you remember Pipi´s horse? The one that walked around the house while Pipi did her things? Well, today we are going to make it in the form of a puppet.
MATERIALS
APLI EVA foam
APLI scissors
APLI white glue
APLI pompoms
APLI quilling
APLI wool
APLI premium knife
APLI little eyes
A permanent marker pen
STEP 1
Cut out the two parts of the puppet. To make the finger holes, better use the knife to cut a cross and then cut out the hole with scissors or the knife.
STEP 2
Stick the eye on with white glue.
STEP 3
Apply a line of white glue and stick the strips of quilling paper, alternating their colours.
STEP 4
Now it’s time to make the other part of the puppet. Cut several threads of wool, insert them through the upper hole and make a knot to secure the tail well. Then stick the black mini pompoms on with a bit of white glue.
STEP 5
Stick the two parts together with white glue and give it the final touch. Draw the mouth, the nose and the ears with a permanent marker. You can also trim the threads to give it a more uniform finish.
STEP 6
And here it is! It looks like it could gallop and all! An ideal toy for mischievous little children.
