Funny and unique greeting cards!
A new academic course begins, and the little ones meet again with their classmates and friends. A year with new challenges, knowledge and experiences to live with. The children will turn one more year, and we bring you an idea to celebrate the birthdays: Greeting cards!
Personalized cards are a beautiful detail that demonstrate the effort you put into making something special. It is also a fun and very creative activity. We teach you how to create three different handmade greeting cards step by step.
Material needed:
- Colored cardboard
- Felt
- Moving eyes
- Markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Different themed stickers
Monster greeting cards
Crete these very fun cards, kids can develop their imagination and creativity.
- Cut a color card in half. Cut the bottom of a face to create the monster’s mouth.
- Cut the dinosaur’s teeth into a different colored card. Here kids can get creative and cut the denture in the funniest wat they can think of.
- Decorate the monster by creating arms, antennas, wings, eyes… anything you can think of!
- Finish the monster by sticking different moving eyes to make the card even more fun.
Greeting cards with numbers
An original way to create a greeting card is with the age number of the birthday.
- Fold a cardboard of one color in half.
- Cut a cardboard of another color in half and paste it inside the folder cardboard.
- Draw the number you want on the front of the card and cut it out.
- Decorate the inside of the card with animal stickers, party-themed stickers, confetti, moving eyes of EVA foam hearts.
Animal greeting cards
A classic we always love are animal greeting cards. Here are three examples of crocodile, lion and bear.
- Fold the cards in different colors in half.
- On the crocodile card, cut the front of the card to make the animal’s mouth. And to create the bear card, create two ears.
- Paste different felt cutouts to decorate the animals by creating the fur, mouth and cheeks
- Finish decorating the cards by drawing different faces with markers and hooking stickers and moving eyes.
