How to make fun coasters for your summer soft drinks

The best time of summer is to be drinking your favorite soft drink in good company to combat the high temperatures. That is why we bring you a handicrafts to do with children to create a beautiful coaster. A fun activity to entertain the little ones on a summer afternoon, and also serves as a nice decoration!

Material needed:

• Felt of colors.
• EVA foam of fluor colors.
• Kit Quiling
• White glue
• Scissors

Coasters of flip flops

Create a fun and very summery coaster with only EVA foam. We have chosen fluor color EVA foam to give a splash of color for the summer.

1. Cut the shape of a flip flop and make two cuts at the edge.
2. Create the funny figure of the flip flop: a star, a flower, or a seashell.
3. Glue the figure on the cuts of the flip flop and glue them on the front’s base.

Coasters of mandalas

Create a fun mandalas coaster with quiling paper. The Quiling Kit is ideal for making fun handicrafts by rolling paper with a tool and creating endless decorations.

1. Roll up the paper strips with the kit tool to create rounds with volume of different colors.
2. Cut a round with fielt create the base of the coaster.
3. Glue the different rounds created with quiling paper on the base.
4. Develop your creativity to make different combinations!

Fruit coasters

Nice coasters for your fruit juices with felt!

1. Cut a round with the color felt of the fruit to create the base.
2. Cut another round, a little bit smaller, to symbolize the inside of the fruit.
3. Decorate it with different color triangles to represent the fruit.
