Turn drawings into 3D objects!

We present the game Magic Plastic for children to have fun performing this fun handcraft. Magic plastic turns drawings into 3D objects. Children can let their imagination flow or use the templates with the examples. We show you how to do the handcraft step by step.

Material required:

• Magic Plastic pack: contains 4 A4 sheets of magic plastic and 4 sheets with examples to model.
• Color pencils or markers.
• Permanent marker.
• Scissors.
• Oven.

Follow these steps:

1. Choose the drawing of the sample sheets you want to use, or any drawing of your choice and draw it on one of the magic plastic sheets. Note, when choosing the drawing, that the image will shrink from 3 to 4 time its original size.
2. If you want to add color. Color your drawing on the rough part of the sheet with pencils or markers. It is recommended to mark the silhouette with a pencil marker.
3. Crop the desired image. It is possible to make a hole if you want to use the plastic for jewellery, ornaments, keychain, etc.
4. Preheat the oven to 135º. Place the pieces one at a time in the center of the oven on the baking paper and heat them for 1-2 minutes. During baking, the leaf will shrink and curl, but after 2 minutes, it will be flat again. If not, it helps to finish smoothing with a flat object.
5. When it’s flat, remove the pieces from the oven with a cloth (to prevent burns on the fingers) and let it cool. Adult supervision is required throughout the process. Excessive heat can cause fire.
6. You can use objects like pendants, beads, badges, key chains, anything you can imagine!
