Handicraft to create fun binoculars this holiday!

We propose fun summer handicrafts to enjoy this holiday. Performing manual activities will help children boost their creativity, concentration and psychomotor skills. Therefore, we are going to make fun binoculars that, in addition, you can play with them once the handicraft is finished.

Safari binoculars

Material needed:

• EVA foam - Wool
• Natural raffia
• Scissors
• Silicone glue
• Themed stickers

A fun binocular to play safari! The children will create the binoculars, and then they will be able to look at the animals of the jungle through them.

1. Create two cylinders with EVA foam, one of each color.
2. Glue them side by side to create the binoculars.
3. Create a wide EVA foam tape of another color to wrap the two cylinders.
4. Wrap the cylinders with natural raffia.
5. Finish the handicraft by gluing a wool thread at the end to hang the binoculars on the neck.

Shark binoculars

Material needed:

• Blue EVA foam
• Colored cardboards: blue, white and grey
• Moving eyes
• Natural raffia in blue colors
• Stickers sea animals
• Scissors
• Silicone glue

Create these shark binoculars to see the sea from home with these simple steps:

1. Create two cylinders with grey cardboard.
2. Create the dorsal fin with cardboard of the same color and stick them on top of the cylinders.
3. Symbolizes gills with two EVA foam cutouts.
4. Make a cut like a triangle on the front to create the mouth and glue small triangles of white cardboard to create the denture.
5. Stick two moving eyes on each side.
6. Fix a raffia cutout on each side so you can hang the binoculars on your neck.
7. Finish decorating the shark with stickers of marine animals to make the binoculars more fun.

Bird binoculars

Material needed:

• Grey EVA foam
• Colored cardboards: green, yellow and orange
• Eye stickers
• Roll of mosaic-shape educational stickers
• Scissors
• Silicone glue

Finally, we propose these bird binoculars where children can develop their imagination.

1. Create two cylinders with EVA foam and glue them between.
2. Wrap the cylinders with colored cardboard.
3. With another cardboard of a different color create the beak and glue it on top.
4. Decorate the binoculars by gluing the eyes, children will be able to create different expressions.
5. Finish the craft by decorating the birds with mosaic educational stickers creating the shapes you want.
